My dog's tooth looks different. Is this normal for a dog's mouth?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 12 years and 5 months old | 20 lbs

does his teeth look normal? i brush them once a week but in the first picture his tooth looks different than the other one?

Both teeth look normal. The gums above the tooth are pigmented in the second picture, which can be normal. (like a freckle inside the mouth). There is mild tartar calculus on both teeth but the gums look healthy. Thank you for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You are doing a good job with the brushing!
