What's causing my rabbit's itchy, scratched nose and sneezing?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Male | unneutered | 5.6 lbs

My mini lop show rabbit has had a wounded nose sense we got him. He keeps itching it with his back feet and sneezing. Because he is itching it, it is making it all scratched up. Idk what is causing it.

Thanks for reaching out about Bolt and including a photo. Nasal crusts can be caused by bacterial infections or other conditions. A veterinary visit is recommended to assess and provide a diagnostic/treatment plan. good luck.
