Why is my dog not drinking water or pooping, but otherwise normal?

My one year old dog will not drink water he hasn’t pooped since yesterday he’s eating just fine and playing as usual what can be the cause of this ? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | unneutered

No pooping for a day is not normal for most dogs and should have you concerned. It could be that his stomach hurts. Not drinking will, unfortunately, lead to more problems having a bowel movement. Add water and canned organic pumpkin to his food. Warming it may help. A long walk or a game of fetch may also help to get things moving. If he does not have a bowel movement for 48 hours or if he becomes ill, he needs to see the veterinarian. Best of luck.
