It looks like unfortunately your question got cut off before you finished. It is possible your dog has a skin infection. Bacteria and yeast infections of the skin are very common in sharpei dogs, unfortunately, and often require prescription medication from a veterinarian. Sometimes a medicated shampoo like Ketochlor may help.
