My vaccinated dog nipped me. Is he at risk for rabies from this?

My let dog hasn't been bitten or come in contact with any animal whatsoever and has been getting Rabies vaccination. Can he still get rabies if he playfully nipped me ?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Rabies is contracted through a bite or scratch from something infected with rabies. Unless you bit him and have rabies, he can’t get it from biting you. Keep up on his vaccinations and he should be good. Also, if he bites you make sure you wash the area with soap and water so it doesn’t get infected. Kisses to Odin!
