What's the best animal protein for dogs with sensitive stomachs? Salmon, beef, duck, etc? (I was told no chicken because of Jack's past liver issue). I always hear limited ingredient foods are good but are they balanced and have all the nutrients dogs need? Pet's info: Dog | Catahoula Leopard Dog | Male | neutered | 7 years and 1 month old | 75 lbs

In general, salmon is a good protein for sensitive stomachs. Limited ingredient diets are only good for dogs who have food allergies. In general, food allergy is rare and affects less than 10% of all dogs with allergies. I recommend instead, if the concern is a sensitive stomach, to try Royal Canin or Purina Pro Plan.
