My lovebird laid one broken egg outside the nest. Will she lay more?

hey there recently i got two love birds and they are mates the pet store told me that the female has eggs and will lay soon so we got them a nesting box and some mesting material that they can gather and make a nest from the next day i noticed that there was a egg on the floor of the cage broken cuz the female layed it outside it's been a day and half they seem to be building a nest but I don't see any other eggs being layed they are usually in box I'm wondering if they are going to lay more

Thanks for reaching out. No, it sounds as if your are headed into the correct direction. Check and improve diet, needs to include vegetables, especially greens for calcium. Birds loose lots of calcium when they lay eggs, and needs to be replaced in the diet. Good luck.
