Pet's info: Dog | Pembroke Welsh Corgi | Female | spayed | 26 lbs
My spayed corgi has blood in her urine. We took her to the vet and they took an ultra sound and xray and diagnosed her with a UTI. she was on antibiotics for three weeks and had another followup ultrasound they said she could go off the antibiotics and a week later more blood. Back on the antibiotics for two weeks and then another ultrasound. A week after and again blood. Shes fine when shes on the antibiotics but onces shes off theres blood. Is this right? They want her back on the meds.

Poor Dolce! That is good that her Ultrasounds have been normal. I recommend to discuss a urine culture with your veterinarian. This will check for bacterial resistance which would explain why the antibiotics are not working. It will also help to guide in the choice of antibiotics. Best of luck.
