My puppy pug Lola I think has her period she is 7 months old and the area today has been very swolllen, she keeps panting and looks irritable, keeps licking the area and off her food. Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 5 months old

These are normal symptoms for a dog in heat. But the hair around the vulva is stained brown, which could indicate a yeast infection or UTI. I would have Lola examined by a vet just to be safe and check out these other possibilities.
