My dog ate raw meat outside. What signs of illness should I watch for?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Spitz | Female | spayed | 3 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs

I think my dog ate something pink stuff outside, that kinda looked like raw meat. Will she be ok, what signs I should look for and could something because of this meat not affect her immediately but could take days or even months to show signs.

I would watch Joshie for anything abnormal, such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, abdominal pain, panting, etc. It may be no big deal, but if she does develop symptoms she should see a vet for treatment.
