Why is my cat's eye blurry, full of boogers, and he's not eating?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

I'm worrying about my cat and I was wondering if you could tell me what may be wrong with him. He went open one of his eyes and it looks like there's alot of eye boogers in it and its blurry, it also looks kind of like there's a hole in the clear lense part of his eye. For the other eye it looks fine but hes closing it more but it looks ok. I also noticed that he refused some food that I gave him today and instead of my bed he was laying on the floor with I've never seen him do.

I would recommend that you have Max examined by a vet ASAP. Your description and picture of the eye look like there is a corneal ulcer. Eye issues can get worse incredibly quickly, so this should be considered a medical emergency. After examination, the vet will stain the eye to evaluate the extent of the ulcer and prescribe eye medications and pain medications. It is likely Max is closing the other eye simply due to a pain response.
