My baby wild rabbit isn't peeing for days. Is dark urine concerning?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed

I am orphaning two wild baby rabbits that I got when they were around 10 days old (their eyes opened after the first night) I stimulated them to pee a couple times during the first 48 hours, but now it's been nearly 3 days without success (trying every few hours). The last time one peed, it was actually on it's own after feeding but a lot of dark brown color. So I figure atleast one might be able to pee by itself but I haven't seen any pee spots in their crate for 3 days. There is poop though

Thanks for reaching out about Orphans. Is there a wildlife rehabilitation organization that can help, as they probably have proper rabbit milk replacer and can socialize the rabbits better. Concerns, they are mal-nourished and dehydrated. Good luck.
