My dog scratched a scab on his face, now it's raw. What do I do?

My dog had a scab on his face or dry skin and I’m guessing he’s scratched it off and now it’s just flesh that doesn’t look right what should I do ?

Hello, sorry to hear about Luna. It looks like she has intertrigo or skin fold pyoderma. This is generally a superficial skin infection from excess friction and moisture of the skin folds that leads to excess growth in normal skin bacteria/yeast that then becomes a local infection. What you may need to do is place an e-collar over her head so that she is not scratching at the area and then you may apply a light film of triple antibiotic to treat the infection.
