My puppy isn't crying, but could her leg still be broken?

If my puppy fractured her back leg would she be whimpering or crying

Hi there. No, not necessarily - dogs often don't cry or whine when they're in pain, so this is not a reliable indicator of whether something is wrong or now. If your pup is limping or holding up her leg, I would recommend taking her to the vet for an exam and possible x-rays.
