My shy Persian cat is unfriendly. Should I add another cat to my home?

Hey, I have a 1 year old Male Persian cat. We have been thinking about adding another cat to the family ( a female Siberian cat) but my Persian cat is very shy and has never been friendly with other animals, is adding another cat to the family a good option or I should just let my cat be the only one. Pet's info: Cat | Persian | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 3 months old | 3.7 lbs

If i'm your cat i would probably say to you "don't you dare!" it really depends what is the reason for adding another cat to the family, if this is to keep your other cat's company then i would probably not do it.
