My cat has red skin and fur loss on her shoulder. Should I be worried?

My cat has a patch of red looking skin on the back of her shoulder! And some fur is coming off. She seems okay in her self. Should I be worried? Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 12 years and 4 months old
