Pet's info: Dog | Golden Retriever | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 5 days old
Hey, I have a 3 months old golden retriever puppy, i give him orijen puppy food. Of late everyone including my breeder and vet are suggesting me to switch his food to royal canin, they say that royal canin has better health benefits and has visible results in a month. Do you think i should switch to royal canin?

Yes, Royal Canin is one of the best diets available and it’s what I feed my own dogs and cats. Get the large breed puppy or the golden retriever puppy diet and feed this until he is 1 year old. Make sure to transition the diet over 1 week to avoid causing GI upset. I hope this helps.

Yes, royal canin is formulated as a complete food providing for all nutritional needs (junior/puppy up until 12-15months and then adult). It is a more balanced diet when fed alone than it is when mixed with other foods which can actually lead to nutritional excesses and deficiencies
