Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 80 lbs
Hello we just recently moved into a friends house with a female 2 year old thats spayed . I own two german shepherds one is a year old and the other is 7 months . They are both intact . They have never fought before but all the sudden after being here for two weeks they had their first nasty fight and they cant be toogether without starting a fight . What should i do and why and they fighting . Should i neutor my 1 year old

Neutering both dogs at 1 year of age may help if this is related to the female (male dogs may still try to claim possession of her even if she is fixed). If the younger dog is already exhibiting undesirable behaviors, you may look at neutering him now. There is a possibility this is not related to the female. Working with a professional trainer may be your best option. Also, after the neutering, the hormones will still be around for about a month so it’s not instantaneous. I hope this helps.
