Spayed cat recovery in a condo: How to keep her separate from kittens?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 years and 5 months old

Hi, We have a 4 year old cat who we are looking to get spayed soon. The problem is, we live in a condo so we don’t have separate rooms in our condo to keep her separate from the kittens after we bring her back to recover from her operation. Do you have any tips to how we can help her after her operation? Thanks

You can get a large crate, and have Lilly stay in there while she is recovering. That will rest her, and keep her separate from the kittens. Make sure the crate is big enough to hold water, food, and a litter box. Best of luck.
