Pet's info: Dog | Siberian Husky | Male | neutered | 6 years and 11 months old | 60 lbs
My 7 year old male Siberian husky, Maverick, has always chewed at his front and back legs. It gets so bad that he chews his skin raw that it’s almost bloody. I’ve taken him to the vet several times and they can’t find anything wrong with him. He was prescribed some chewable supplement tablets but they didn’t help. He is a rescue dog that was badly abused before we got him; could it be mental, allergies, something else? It is year round and consistently the same amount of chewing.

Yes, it could be, and probably is, allergies. I suggest you test him for allergies and then consult with your vet about the results.
