My chinchilla was bloated for 4 days. Is a vet visit still necessary?

Ella is a chinchilla, after my research I believe she has boat/is bloated. Its been about 4 days and she is getting better. Should I stillbe taking her to the vet for a more in-depth check or do you think she will be ok if we continue to watch her at home? Any information you can share would be lovely. Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Female | unspayed | 6 years and 8 months old | 436 lbs

Thanks for reaching out about Ella. If she is not 100% normal, after 4 days of problems, you should seek a veterinary visit, especially since the weekend is approaching. Bloat just doesn't happen as is secondary to a primary problem. Good luck.
