My 2-month green cheek conure won't step up. How do I train her?

Hiw do I get my 2 month green cheek conures to step up on my finger. She gets on the bottom of her cage and I can pet her. I put my finger under her but she won’t move. I push gently on her chest with my finger and I’ve moved my finger out a little. No stepping on it. Pet's info: Bird | Conure | Male | 2 months and 7 days old

Thanks for reaching out about Tweety. Training is all about persistence and positive reinforcement. Pick her up and place her on your finger and give praise. Offer to step up, if does not, then pick her up and place her on your finger, give her praise. Repeat until successful. Good luck.
