My puppy has parvo. What are the treatment options to save her?

My puppy is very sick and has parvo is there a way I can save her. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 10 lbs

Hello, sorry to hear about your puppy. In general, prognosis for a puppy with parvo is guarded and highly dependant on how sick your puppy is and how aggressive his treatment is. Standard of care includes hospitalization with intravenous fluids and medications as most commonly these puppies are unable to eat and have severe vomiting and diarrhea. If puppies however are less ill, occasionally at home treatment with oral medications (if eating) and fluids under the skin can be administered. Please contact your veterinarian to discuss if Lucille should be hospitalized or treated at home. Hope this helps and best of luck.
