Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 17 years and 8 months old | 4.8 lbs
Hi, I was just giving my elderly cat fluids at home (as directed and taught by the vet), and she managed to get the iv out of her back and ran away. She seemed fine but her back was very wet. Should I have any concerns? What negative behaviors should I watch for? Will the fluids leak out? How can I better keep her still next time?

Baby should be fine from this. There will be no negative behaviors. Just give her the fluids at her next scheduled time. I would have a friend hold her while you do it, or you can wrap her in a towel like a burrito to help her stay still. Best of luck.
