My new small dog won't eat much but seems healthy. Is this normal?

Hi I've just gotten my first dog about 3 months ago and ever since then he won't eat Everytime I feed him, he goes 2 days at a time without eating but he's still healthy and playful, he's a Chihuahua rat terrier mix and he's 9 pounds. is this normal or should I be concerned? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua (Smooth Coat) | Male | 1 year old | 9 lbs
