Cat has a growth in its ear. Can I treat it without a vet visit?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female

Hi, there is a cat that comes to say hello most days and she has this growth in her ear, or that's just what I'm assuming it is. The owner either doesn't know or doesn't care, I don't want to have to take her to the vets but if there maybe something I can buy I will do it. Or any advice would be very helpful, thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your roaming kitty. Unfortunately there is no topical medication that is going to rid the kitty of this growth, which could be a large polyp (benign other than causing irritation and if removed cat may go back to normal) or a tumor.
