My dog has diarrhea. Should I continue rice and chicken broth diet?

My dog is a 9 year old chihuahua mix, she had diarrhea on Friday night, I didnt give her any food just water to keep her hydrated. On Saturday it calmed down a bit I gave her rice and chicken broth throughout the day. Sunday she was feeling a little better and at midnight she started panting and shaking again and keeps wanting to go outside to the bathroom. We do not feed her people food because she has a sensitive stomach to certain foods. Do I keep her on the rice and chicken broth? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | 15 lbs

Yes, I would keep her on that diet and I would also add in a probiotic like FortiFlora. It must be a probiotic made for dogs even if you can’t get the specific one. I think it is the best. One packet on the food daily and I would do it for at least two weeks no matter when the diarrhea stops.
