Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | 1 month and 27 days old | 1.2 lbs

I don't know if I can say that Knight is now aggressive or he just want to go out , when I pick him up to go inside the house he growls It's been 4 days since he bit me , Is it just normal for the puppies or maybe thats one of the signs if the puppy have rabies? Should I leave him alone and do what ever he wants or what? I need some advice about this.

Growling and biting isn't inherently a sign of illness, but it doesn't hurt to schedule a vet visit to rule out any issues, however I would be more concerned that a puppy is biting and growling at only a month of age and acting aggressively. I highly recommend trying to find a veterinary behaviorist in your area that can deal with aggression, or working with a trainer on basic puppy obedience so you can start to instill some ground rules and learn to communicate with each other better. http://www.dacvb.org/about/member-directory/
