My dog got in the garbage and swallowed a baby back ribs bone whole should be able to digest it. Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 2 days old | 40 lbs

It's possible that he will digest it, but maybe he won't and maybe the bone will cause severe problems in his gastrointestinal tract, you will have to monitor him closely and see. if he starts vomiting, stops eating or if he starts suffering from diarrhea, constipation or blood in the stools you will need to take him to the vet to get it checked and treated.
