like i have kind of mentioned before pluto bites us a lot now and he is getting older so it is starting to hurt more now and actually making us bleed at times... what can we do to make it stop? at the moment giving him ice cubes helps make him stop biting so much but i don't know if thats even good for him.

Puppy biting is normal, but can be painful especially when new teeth grow in! Stopping all play, yelping "ouch!" and getting up and walking away can help teach him when he is too rough and learn that the fun stops when he gets too excited. Working on impulse control behaviors (take it, leave it, sit, stay, etc) can also help as can redirecting his attention to an appropriate chew toy such as a Kong or Nylabone that can encourage chewing on safer objects.
