Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | 17.5 lbs
Hello my name is Caitlin, My cat Snowball seemed fine this morning, but I noticed later that he was limping when he was walking towards me. It looked like he possibly hurt it jumping down from somewhere but now I am not too sure. By the way he is around 14 to 15 years old(human years) , if that makes any difference. I’d like to know what I can do at home before seeing if we have to go to the vet. I’m asking here first because right now we do not have the funds to go to the vet.

Poor Snowball. Limping means he is in pain. Unfortunately there is nothing you can do at home but rest him. Do NOT give him any human pain medications. Many are toxic to cats, and are fatal if given. Try resting him today, do not let him outside if he's allowed outside, and keep him confined to a small room to limit his movement. If he's still limping on Monday, he will need to see a vet. Best of luck.
