I gave my cat a bath for the first time about 4-5 days ago and shortly after the fur on his side started falling out and now there's a spot without any fur and it looks quite irritated, what is it? Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 15 days old | 2 lbs

It would be hard to say without an exam. Issues such as parasites, infections, irritation, fungal infections, etc can all cause hair loss. If the shampoo used during a bath caused irritation, this could also be related. If the hair loss is very itchy, spreading, there is lots of redness, visible flecks of "stuff" or it is not improving, having a vet take a look in person is best for determining what is causing it.
