Found a lost dog with neck rash. Is it contagious to my puppy?

Hi, we pick up a lost dog and we found out his neck is having some skin irritation / injury. would like to check if it is contagious? or a spreading virus. because currently we have a puppy at home right now.

Poor Zeus! How lovely of you to take him in. It could be a skin infection or it could be an infected injury. Without seeing him in person, I can't say if it's something contagious or not. I would keep him separated from the puppy for now to be safe, and have him seen by a vet in the morning. I hope this helps!
