My dog is a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling retriever she is throwing up and has diarrhea 15 months old. There’s no extended vet care hospital open. She will drink water but keeps throwing up. Is there anything I can do?

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Kallie. I'm quite concerned that she is vomiting up water, as paired with the diarrhea, she will very quickly get dehydrated. In this case, a home remedy is not recommended and she should see a vet now for a shot to stop the vomiting and IV fluids. See if there is a vet on call for emergencies in your area. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. While you are trying to find a vet to see her, withhold food, and only offer small amounts of water at a time. Rest her as well. Best of luck.
