Why does my dog have a dark, crusty spot on his leg after grooming?

My dog just got groomed and I see this dark hard and crusty spot on the side of his leg. He’s not acting differently, and isn’t in pain. Lets us touch it without fuss.

I recommend taking Jax to a veterinarian. Once that area is cleaned up it may reveal a hotspot or little area of a skin infection. Your veterinarian may prescribe antibiotics to help heal his skin. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach
