My dog's gums were red after heat, but now they're pink. Is he okay?

Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 1 year and 11 months old | 13 lbs

I took Tiny outside an hour ago and it’s was ike 100 degrees ( I live in AZ) we were outside for 5 minutes and he was panting but when we came back inside he drank water and sat for like 2 minutes and he played with his ball, and he wasn’t panting anymore. But I saw his gums were red (not like dark red) so I put him in his kennel and turned the fan on. Now he is fighting with our other dog (which is his normal) and his gums have gone to his normal pink. Should I be concerned?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Tiny. I suspect that he started to overheat. If he is doing fine now, he has most likely recovered. Continue to keep him cool and offer plenty of water. I hope this information helps!
