Pet's info: Dog | Dachshund (Miniature Smooth Haired) | Female | 4 years and 5 months old | 11.5 lbs
Well after questioning Gretchen's pregnancy since she was 54 days and exhibiting EVERY symptom of pregnancy EXCEPT a big belly, I took your greatly appreciated advice and brought her in for an x-ray today. This was to be our first ever litter, but we got the news it's a false pregnancy. And a HUGE learning experience. My question is, will she be able to have a viable breeding and pregnancy after this? Thank in advance for any information or advice.

Thank you. Most females will not experience long term problems and the condition will resolve once the hormones return to normal. Here is some helpful information: https://www.petcoach.co/article/false-pregnancy-in-dogs/ Please feel free to post any additional questions.
