Why is my dog spaced out after an anti-sickness shot from the vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | spayed | 8 years and 8 months old | 14.5 lbs

Hi my vet has given my dog an anti sickness injection to ease her vomiting but now she seems a little spaced out Is this normal with these things ?

Hello. Without knowing exactly what your veterinarian administered, it is impossible to say what secondary effects might occur. But most of the medications I am familiar with do not cause a dog to space out. Some might be a little sedating, so perhaps this is what you are seeing.
