Is it safe to give my dog antihistamines for hayfever symptoms?

Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | neutered | 9 months and 6 days old | 48.5 lbs

My bulldog seems to be suffering with hayfever runny nose ect can I give him priton or another antihistamine

As long as the discharge from the nose is clear, then yes, you can try an antihistamine. Priton (chlorpheneramine) is not the best. You are better off using loratadine - 10mg by mouth once a day (should be one tablet). ( https://www.amazon.co.uk/Haylief-Loratadine-Hayfever-Allergy-Tablets/dp/6041257966 ) If the discharge is discolored (green or yellow) or he is acting ill in any other way (not eating, coughing, lethargic, vomiting, etc) then he should see a vet.
