My dog is licking his dew claw, and it looks sideways. Should I worry?

My dog has been licking its dew claw for a few days now but it's not showing any signs of redness but it looks like it is pointing sideways a little possibly caught on wire dog fence not limpingwhat should I do

It does appear the dewclaw got caught on something as you said. It is in abnormal position and will likely always be that way. I would not be overly worried about it unless you see a wound or the nail is hanging off - in which case you should get him to the vet. If you just leave it alone it should be fine.
