Can I use albendazole as a dewormer for my kitten? He is one month old. If it is yes then what is the dosage?

Albendazole is not commonly used in pets. For routine deworming, Pyrantel is a good option and will kill the common parasites of kittens (roundworms and hookworms). The dosages will be on the package or you can contact your veterinarian for assistance. You veterinarian also likely carries this product. I hope this helps.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! In the US we do not use Albendazole since there are many other safer drugs to deworm dogs and cats. If you want to use this product I recommend discussing it with your Vet first for dosing. I hope this helps!
