Pet's info: Dog | Pomeranian | Female | 9 years and 1 month old | 14.33 lbs
My dog is diabetic. She hasn't been eating lately. A few days back we gave her insulin but she refused to eat and got sick. We were able to recover her from the low sugar, and talked to a vet as well. But she still refuses to eat and barely drinks. We have her some glucose water. Although she's drinking when she wants to but keeps throwing up. All the water she drinks, she throws up. Is it because of the heat, and extremely warm temperature? What to do?

Unfortunately it is impossible to know if this is related to heat or an illness. Many different conditions will cause vomiting and you cannot pinpoint just one without a physical exam and possibly some bloodwork. Dogs who have diabetes can be prone to pancreatitis which can look like this. It’s also possible that she has a bacterial imbalance or any number of other conditions. With diabetics, as you know, they need to eat. Since it’s been a few days and she’s not getting better, I recommend a Candy examined by her veterinarian today. Best of luck.
