What to do if my baby cockatiel is weak, sleepy, and not eating?

You hi three days ago we got a baby cockatiel approximately 3 months old he spent most of the day on thr surface of the cage refusing to eat and drink at first we thought she was afraid of us so we left her alone but she didn't even move 1 cm so i went ahead and hand fed her some seeds she suddenly got an appetite and ate from my hand he looks so weak and barley makes a noise he will eat now but is weak and sleepy i don't have an access to a vet can you help me please I'm so concerned :(

Thanks for reaching out about Loopi. A veterinary visit is definately recommended but if not available, providing heat support in the 80-85 F range might give some support. Hand or syringe feed as needed, as mal nutrition can lead to weakness. Seed is not a complete diet, vegetables and a protein source are needed. If this bird was originally hand feed, return to that. Don't forget to offer water. Good luck.
