Is fenbendazole with lactose or corn safe for rabbit E. cuniculi?

Is it safe to use this medicine to treat rabbit E. cunniculi? Of course, in rabbit safe dose of 10-20mg/kg. Medicine contains 250mg ferbendazole and other ingredients are: Lactose, monohydrate; starch, corn; silicon dioxide, colloidal, anhydrous; hydroxyethylcellulose; sodium starch glycolate (type A); magnesium stearate.

Thanks for reaching out about Moko. Even though fenbendazole is the appropriate treatment for e cuniculi, the other ingredients are worrisome in a rabbit. Lactose can lead to abnormal bacterial overgrowth. Corn is not digested well in rabbits and can also lead to GI upset. Straight fenbendazole is recommended. Good luck.
