My cat hates when I try to check her mouth, she'll yowl and run away. She'll let me check everything else, but her eyes, rear and mouth. How do I approach checking her teeth and her other areas that she gets afraid of me checking?

It can be stressful on a cat to have certain areas checked. I would try to calm Jackie down by offering her treats when you examine her mouth, eyes, and rear. Boiled white meat chicken (no bones) is a good treat that may cats like, and it may help her associate a mouth exam with a good thing.
