My fish fell out of the fish tank, and it was high, I do not know how long it went without water, but when I returned it to the fish tank it moved and breathed, only now it is on its side, leaning on the fish tank

Confirm stable water chemistry and water temperature. Bettas will jump out of the tank of stressed or if water quality is poor. They can breathe air for short periods of time as long as they stay moist. He may recover in a bit.
