My 19-month-old dog is shivering, whining, and looking out the window.

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 72 lbs

Me and my girlfriend own a American bulldog Cross for about 6 weeks who is 19 months. Recently I've gone away for 2 weeks. I've been told last night he's been shivering and whining and continues shivering today. He's also looking out the window frequently. I think it might be separation anxiety but he's been fine the last few days since I've been gone and only started it last night.

I doubt that you being gone is causing the problem. He is now sexually mature and he probably is looking out for and smelling females in heat. If he is not to be a breeding dog I suggest you have him neutered. ( https://www.petcoach.co/article/5-great-reasons-to-spay-or-neuter-your-pet/ ) An Adaptil (pheromone) collar and/or diffuser or collar may help for now.
