My cat licked jello. Is it safe for cats to eat jello? Should I be concerned?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 10 lbs

Should I be worried if my 10lb cat licked some jello of my plate. But she hasn’t shown symptoms for the last 7 hours

While not a good regular part of the diet, jello will not harm your cat. The coloring in the jello may cause the poop to be a weird color when it is passing through, but its highly unlikely that it will cause any illness. thank you for asking Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
