Pet's info: Dog | King Charles Spaniel | Female | spayed | 14 years and 11 months old | 30 lbs
Have a King Charles Spaniel 15yo female, fixed, changed diet 2 years ago to no avail, started feeding boiled chicken legs, shredded until recently, then she refused to eat, changed to Beneful medleys, small cans, give half to 1 can with boiled chicken, will eat about 80% of that. Now she seems to have a urinary track infection, wife noticed a white puss this morning, maybe from her vagina area. Had an operation 4 yrs ago for a non-cancerous mass on L mid side area, came back, not bothering her

That discharge is concerning for an infection. I recommend to have Belle examined by her veterinarian. The doctor will collect a urine sample and check it for abnormalities. Finicky eaters are a common problem in small dogs. Here is a link that may help: https://www.petcoach.co/article/my-pet-is-a-finicky-eater/ Try to continue to get as much of a commercial diet in her as possible since this is balanced and fortified. Many pets like the brand Royal Canin and Purina Pro Plan. You may select one or two brands and rotate between them as long as it does not upset her tummy. I hope this helps.
