Pet's info: Dog | American Pit Bull Terrier | Female | unspayed | 2 years and 8 months old | 75 lbs
I believe my American Pit Bull Terrier has irritable bowel syndrome/disease. Her stools can be solid, then the next day they can be liquid and contain mucus. Sometimes more solid than not, vise versa. She shows signs of sensitivity in her lower belly region. She strains while attempting to pass stool, and she vomits every other few days. She's been cut from any form of human food for about a months. She drinks water normally and will eat the most when I come home. She also suffers from anxiety.

Koda is beautiful! I recommend getting her in to see your vet for an exam and ask about specialty bloodwork from Texas A&M University's veterinary GI lab. They run tests to check for pancreatic enzyme levels, nutritional malabsorption and a range of other problems related to the gastrointestinal tract. Additionally, I have known some pets with chronic diarrhea do very well on a commercial raw diet, available from specialty pet stores like PetsMart and Petco.
